Chongqing International Football Club, now stands as the first and only Chongqing expat football team, which is amateur now and probably onto the professional level in the future. It possesses the multi-international team of players from 15 countries whose number of country of players exceeds that of Barcelona club, the present Champion of UEFA Champion League.
The club is sponsored by two Denmark-based companies, and they selected a French coach for their football team who is as Chief Engineer in Ford Motor.
As a routine practice, every Saturday, the club has been kept training and playing match.
